The QSC LS118 is a next-generation powered subwoofer that brings intelligent control and serious punch to modern sound systems. A purpose-designed 18-inch subwoofer in a direct-radiating enclosure is driven by an energy-efficient 4000W Class-D amplifier with power-factor correction, delivering very high output with headroom for today’s program material. With a rated 138 dB peak SPL, selectable DEEP mode for extended low end, and support for cardioid sub array deployments (two or more units), the LS118 delivers clean, controlled bass that focuses energy where the audience needs it. Built on QSC’s Acoustic Linear Phase (ALP) approach, it integrates seamlessly with companion L Class tops for coherent, uniform coverage across the venue.

Networking and control are first-class. The LS118 provides daisy-chain connections for analog audio, Dante networking, and AC power via PowerCON TRUE1, while the QSC SysNav app (System Navigator) lets you design, configure, monitor, and apply processing to single boxes, arrays, or groups—speeding up setup and repeatable show workflows. Physical deployment is equally flexible: M20 pole receivers support vertical or horizontal use and ground-stacking with LA108/LA112, so a single rig can handle portable PA, fixed install, or production work without rethinking hardware.
