This USB Active Extension Cable is an ideal solution for USB applications which require more cable length than the 5 meter (16.5ft) length limitation of USB. This extension cable actively buffers the incoming and outgoing signals to ensure compliance with the USB 2.0 specification for electrical and timing minimums. The plenum rated jacket meets the requirements for an installation in a commercial space, and both low and high speed USB devices will function equally well with this extension.
