Designed for professional capture and monitoring on modern computers, the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio 4K Mini brings desktop-friendly I/O to demanding post and broadcast workflows. Over a single cable, Thunderbolt 3 capture and playback provides high-bandwidth ingest and output while delivering up to 45W host charging. Flexible connectivity includes 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0b for single-cable Ultra HD, plus component/composite video and balanced audio I/O for legacy gear. The front panel adds a front-panel LCD with controls, an XLR mic input with +48V, headphone jack, and a UHS-II SD card reader so camera media is instantly accessible. Capture up to 4K DCI 60p in 8/10-bit HDR, or 12-bit HDR up to 4K DCI 30p, with standards-compliant HLG/PQ support. For deck integration and finishing, RS-422 deck control and reference input ensure frame-accurate operation, while the Fairlight-ready signal path and balanced analog audio I/O fit neatly into studio monitoring chains. At 8.27 x 7 x 1.8" and 2.65 lb, the compact half-rack chassis slots cleanly into flypacks or a Universal Rack Shelf.
