Four Stereo Monitor Mixes with Room to Expand
The Shure ADTQ Axient Digital PSM Quad Wireless IEM Transmitter sends four stereo monitor mixes to compatible ADXR bodypack receivers from a single rackmount unit. Designed for worship teams, concert productions, theaters, and broadcast applications, it combines flexible audio connections with networked control for engineers managing multiple performers.
This ADTQUS=-G57 model operates in the 470–608 MHz frequency band and uses AC power. It is the transmitter component of an in-ear monitoring system; bodypack receivers and earphones are purchased separately.
Key Features
- Four-radio platform: Supports four standard stereo transmission channels, with optional licensed expansion.
- Flexible audio inputs: Accepts analog, AES3, Dante, and AES67 sources.
- Spatial Diversity: Uses supported antenna configurations to help counter interference caused by reflected RF signals.
- Networked management: Integrates with Shure Wireless Workbench for monitoring and control.
- Front-panel monitoring: Includes a color display and headphone output for checking system status and audio.
- Internal antenna combining: Supported presets can reduce the need for external combiners.
Choose the Transmission Approach for Your Stage
Current firmware supports five transmission modes, allowing the system to accommodate different coverage, channel-density, and compatibility requirements.
- Multichannel Wideband: Uses Shure WMAS technology to transmit multiple stereo channels per radio.
- Narrowband: Provides an option for prioritizing RF output power and coverage.
- SC Narrowband: Uses single-carrier digital transmission, with improved stability in challenging environments such as stages with reflective metal surfaces.
- Analog FM: Offers a lower-latency alternative to digital narrowband operation.
- Axient Digital Standard: Supports point-to-point audio transmission to compatible Axient Digital microphone receivers.
Mode availability depends on firmware and regional requirements. Antenna connections, channel capacity, and RF output power vary with the selected operational preset.
Expand to Up to 16 Stereo Channels
Optional channel licenses allow the ADTQ to grow from four to as many as 16 stereo audio channels in supported Multichannel Wideband configurations. Each of its four radios can carry up to four stereo channels, providing additional capacity without adding another transmitter chassis.
Expansion licenses are purchased separately and managed through ShureCloud. Increasing channel density shares the available RF power across more channels, reducing maximum output power per channel and potentially affecting range. Plan expansion around the venue's coverage requirements, antenna placement, and any external combining equipment.
Connect Your Mixer and Manage Receivers
Eight switchable combo connectors accept analog or AES3 audio. Dante and AES67 provide network audio options for compatible digital mixing systems, while Ethernet connectivity also supports transmitter management.
For digital in-ear monitoring, use compatible Shure ADXR receivers with matching frequency and operating-mode settings. The ADXR-A supports the G57 frequency range used by this transmitter. A separately available AD610 ShowLink access point enables remote adjustment of receiver settings from the engineering position.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include four bodypack receivers?
No. This listing includes the transmitter and its supplied accessories. Compatible receivers and earphones are sold separately.
Do I need expansion licenses for the standard four stereo channels?
No. Additional licenses are required when expanding beyond the standard four-channel stereo capacity.
Can I connect an analog mixing console?
Yes. Use the analog inputs to connect appropriate monitor outputs from your console. Dante is optional.
Does Spatial Diversity always preserve the maximum channel count?
No. Spatial Diversity uses additional transmission resources and can reduce available channel capacity. Choose the preset that balances your required mixes and RF coverage.
Does licensed operation require a permanent internet connection?
No. Internet access and a ShureCloud account are required for license activation and management. Activated channels can operate without a continuous internet connection.
Are four antennas included because the transmitter has four RF outputs?
No. Two half-wave antennas are supplied. The antenna arrangement required depends on the selected operating configuration.
