Flexible Digital Wireless Monitoring for Live Performances
The Shure ADTD Axient Digital PSM Dual Wireless IEM Transmitter sends monitor mixes to compatible bodypack receivers, helping performers hear the audio they need on stage. The ADTDUS=-G57 operates in the 470–608 MHz frequency band and provides two stereo transmission channels in its standard configuration. It is suited to worship teams, touring musicians, theaters, and production crews building a professional in-ear monitoring system.
This is the transmitter component, not a complete listening system. Compatible bodypack receivers and earphones are purchased separately. The supplied model uses AC power; the version with a DC power module is a separate configuration.
Key Features
- Two-radio transmitter platform with optional channel expansion.
- Analog, AES3, Dante, and AES67 audio input options.
- Spatial Diversity transmission to help address multipath interference caused by reflected wireless signals.
- Wireless Workbench integration for networked monitoring and control.
- 6.6-inch color display and front-panel headphone monitoring.
- Selectable internal antenna combining for flexible RF system configuration.
Choose the Transmission Mode for Your Production
With current firmware, the ADTD supports five transmission modes. Each offers a different approach to wireless performance, system compatibility, or channel capacity:
- Multichannel Wideband: Uses Shure WMAS technology to carry multiple stereo audio channels per radio.
- Narrowband: Provides an option for prioritizing RF output power and coverage.
- SC Narrowband: A single-carrier digital mode introduced to improve stability in challenging stage environments, including areas near reflective metal surfaces.
- Analog FM: Supports a low-latency hybrid transmission workflow.
- Axient Digital Standard: Enables point-to-point audio transmission to compatible Axient Digital microphone receivers.
Available modes and WMAS features depend on regional requirements and installed firmware. Select the operating configuration to match the receivers, antenna arrangement, and coverage requirements of the production.
Expand Monitor Capacity as Your Needs Grow
Optional channel licenses allow the ADTD to expand from two to as many as eight stereo audio channels using Multichannel Wideband operation. Its two radios can each carry up to four stereo channels in supported configurations.
Expansion licenses are purchased separately and managed through ShureCloud. Higher channel density shares the transmitter’s RF power resources, reducing maximum output power per channel and potentially affecting coverage. Plan channel expansion together with antenna placement and any external combiners rather than assuming maximum channel count provides the same range as every other configuration.
Audio Connections and System Integration
Four switchable combo inputs accommodate analog or AES3 audio sources. Four Ethernet ports provide connections for network control and Dante/AES67 audio, allowing integration with compatible digital mixing systems. Two coaxial RF outputs connect the transmitter to its antenna system.
For digital in-ear monitoring, pair the ADTD with compatible Shure ADXR bodypack receivers. Adding a separately available AD610 ShowLink access point enables remote adjustment of supported receiver settings, allowing the engineer to manage bodypacks from the monitoring position.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this include bodypack receivers or earphones?
No. This listing is for the transmitter and its supplied installation accessories. Purchase compatible receivers and earphones separately.
Do I need a Dante-equipped mixer?
No. The transmitter also accepts analog and AES3 inputs, so Dante is one connection option rather than a requirement.
Are eight stereo channels available out of the box?
No. The standard configuration provides two stereo channels. Additional licenses and a supported operating configuration are required to reach eight.
Does channel expansion require an ongoing internet connection?
Internet access and a ShureCloud account are required to activate and manage licenses. Once activated on the device, licensed channels can operate without a continuous internet connection.
Can the engineer adjust performers' receivers remotely?
Yes. Compatible ADXR receivers support ShowLink remote control when the system includes a separately purchased AD610 access point.
